This switch to a lightweight, breathable fabric reflects a thoughtful consideration of God's comfort during the hot months ahead.
Ram Lala, a 51-inch tall revered statue depicting the youthful form of Lord Rama, popularly known as 'Palak Ram', has been carved from a rare three-billion-year-old black stone by the master craftsman of Mysuru, Arun Yogiraj.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony of this divine deity was held on January 22, 2024.
Meanwhile, ahead of the upcoming Ram Navami celebrations, the Hanumangarhi temple administration held a meeting on Friday to discuss arrangements for devotees, temple officials said.
The Ayodhya district administration and police also attended the meeting, they added.
The officials discussed provisions for the provision of drinking water and arrangements, paying special attention to the provision of toilets to ensure that devotees do not burn their feet in the summer heat.
