Trinity Preschool had its first grade students participate in Texas Discovery Day. They moved between classrooms, each offering a distinct Texas-related activity.

The students participated in a recycling activity and learned about the importance of keeping Texas clean and green under the slogan “Don't Mess with Texas.”

By exploring the culinary delights of Texas, young learners discover iconic Texan foods like chili, bluebells, Dr. Pepper, and pecan pie to gain a taste of our state's rich culinary heritage.

By delving deeper into the world of sports, students learned about the famous sports teams in Texas.

The children embraced the state flower, the blue cap, and created a blue cap with cotton swabs and paint.

The lively atmosphere continued as students tried their hands (and feet) at line dancing, immersing themselves in a form of traditional Texas dancing.

To conclude the day's activities, students immersed themselves in a geographic exploration of Texas, learning about its diverse regions and unique characteristics, from the plains of West Texas to the lush landscapes of East Texas.
