Road Town, British Virgin Islands – March 26, 2024 – Bitfinex (https://www.bitfinex.com/), a leading digital asset trading platform, announced today that it will list Coq Inu (COQ), a token on the Avalanche Network contract chain (c-chain).

Launched by members of the Avalanche community late last year, Coq Inu is a chicken-shaped token with a total supply of 69.42 trillion. Similar to other popular tokens, Coq Inu has no specific purpose or benefit to the network it relies on, but is instead “for entertainment purposes only.” COQ made headlines in December 2023 when its market capitalization rose to $230 million – 12 days after its launch on December 8. It currently has a market capitalization of $325.15 million.

COQ deposits open at approximately 1:00 PM UTC on March 26, 2024, depending on network conditions. Trading is scheduled to commence at approximately 1:00 PM on 28 March 2024, subject to liquidity requirements being met. COQ will be tradable against US dollars (COQ/USD) and Tether tokens (COQ/USDt).
