“Kuha sa Tingi” is a project created by Greenpeace Philippines, Innovation Catalyst and the local governments of San Juan City and Quezon City, which introduces small quantity refilling systems for affordable everyday goods in sari-sari stores, allowing consumers from all over the socio-economic sectors to refill their containers Reusable in the exact quantities you need.

The report shows that investing in large-scale refill systems can end bag contamination. With the project results as proof of concept, reuse and refill systems are not only effective solutions to the plastic crisis, but also sound business models that benefit suppliers, retailers, consumers and local government units – while helping to protect the environment and communities.
