Lionlimb – the project of New York-based singer, songwriter and producer Stuart Bruno – has announced a new LP, Limbo. Follow up until 2021 Helical groove It is due out May 24 on Bayonet Records. Today's announcement comes with the release of the lead single, “Hurricane.” Check it out and find the album cover and tracklist below.
“‘Hurricane’ is about escaping and searching for that feeling that puts you in a state of flow, away from the anxiety and discomfort of being human,” Bruno explained in a statement. “Creativity can help, there are other ways that are much more harmful. This song is about saying goodbye to those, but I feel like I'm always looking for the next thing.
Bruno composed, produced and mixed Limbo, with additional recording from Robin Eaton, live drums by Joshua Geiger, and vocal contributions from Angel Olsen. “When I work on music, it's like I'm trying to create my own world,” Bruno said. “It's that feeling of wanting to be somewhere else. I'm trying to express something and get out of my head and body.”
