Angelica Garcia announced her new album. Twin, her first appearance on party recordings. To be released on June 7, the new single “Color De Dolor” will be released today. It arrives with a music video directed by Sergi Castilla and filmed in Simi Valley, California. Check it out below.
“Grief has nuance, and sometimes pain can be intertwined with beauty,” Garcia said in a statement. “Twin is a body of work that explores the grieving process – while acknowledging the light and shadow within it. “Color De Dolor” was the first song written for her Twin. It's also the first song on the record where I confront grief for what it is. I wanted “Color De Dolor” to sound very rich and textured, as if you were walking through a forest. To me, its shifting quality shows sadness and beauty.
