PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) – The Gulf Coast Cultural Festival brings art, music, dance, food, film and culture to downtown Pensacola this Mother's Day weekend.
According to a press release, the festival will be held on May 11 at Seville Square in downtown Pensacola.

The Gulf Coast Cultural Festival is a free, two-part event that promises to provide “an enriching experience for the whole family.”
According to the statement, the first part of the event starts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This daytime segment features a variety of vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment.
At eight o'clock in the evening, the second part of the festival begins.
During Part Two, the Gulf Coast Short Film Festival will present “FilmsForTheCulture,” a community-wide short film festival.

“Every year, the Gulf Coast Cultural Festival brings something new to the community. We are committed to making this the most important year yet, and strive to enhance diversity in our entertainment lineup and vendors. Our goal is to provide the community with an immersive cultural experience,” said Calvin Griffin, festival organizer. “Fun and dynamic.”
Griffin says the festival is a fun time and supports a good cause. According to the release, We Reign Sickle Cell Corporation is the chosen charity for the festival this year. They will receive a portion of the proceeds raised from the event.
