    Explore black art, history and culture at the second annual POWER at MOSH on Saturday

    Join the Museum of Science and History on Saturday for the second annual Power Event: A Celebration of Black Art, History and Culture.

    MOSH describes this Passport Series program in collaboration with the Ritz Theater & Museum as “a vibrant celebration aimed at connecting communities and cultures and facilitating educational growth. Listen, learn and enjoy the dynamic atmosphere that celebrates black art, history and culture!”

    The program will include:

    • The film “The Banker” was screened in the Palestinian National Council's community conference hall at five in the evening

    • Art exhibits highlighting local black artists starting at 5 p.m

    • Local Black-owned businesses and delicacies start at 6 p.m

    • Live art performances at JEA's Science Theater and Creativity Station at 8 p.m

    • And much more…

    The MOSH Passport Series is described as “a series of special events that celebrate and educate about the value of diversity throughout Northeast Florida communities. The purpose is to bring the community together by working on common goals.”

    This special event takes place on Saturday, March 16 from 5pm to 10pm at MOSH. Single ticket purchase includes dining selections, access to discussion sessions, live entertainment, and free exploration of museum exhibits.

    Adult tickets are $30 and children ages 3-12 are $20.
