BitGo, a prominent provider of Bitcoin wallets and custodial solutions, has unveiled a new enhancement to its platform with the introduction of Replace-By-Fee (RBF) integration, according to a press release sent to Bitcoin Magazine. This new feature is designed to increase the processing speed of Bitcoin transactions, providing users with greater flexibility and control over their transactions.

RBF enables users to redeem stuck transactions with higher fees, thus incentivizing miners to confirm them instantly across the chain. Available across BitGo's portfolio of wallets, including hot wallet, qualified custody, and self-custodial Bitcoin wallet options, the RBF integration represents another milestone in BitGo's ongoing efforts to provide advanced features and functionality to its users.

The introduction of RBF offers many benefits to Bitcoin users. First, it provides greater transaction flexibility, allowing users to dynamically adjust fees to speed up confirmation, especially during periods of high network congestion. This enhanced flexibility contributes to a smoother and more efficient transaction experience, enabling users to navigate the complexities of the Bitcoin network with confidence.

As part of the RBF integration, BitGo users will now have access to a range of new features and functionality. These include the ability to reference RBF in withdrawals, accelerate low-fee stalled transactions using RBF, and display redemption details on accelerated transfers via RBF. In addition, BitGo will automatically reference RBF in internal management transactions, such as mergers and expansions, to facilitate acceleration if necessary.

The RBF integration is in line with BitGo's dedication to providing the latest features and functionality to its users. It enhances transaction management capabilities and contributes to a smooth and efficient user experience. As RBF becomes increasingly standard in Bitcoin wallets, BitGo intends to remain at the forefront of enabling users to navigate the complexities of the Bitcoin network with confidence and ease.
