Today's top cryptocurrency prices recorded a mixed move as Bitcoin (BTC) price maintained the $72,000 level after reaching a peak of over $72,850. In addition, the price of Ethereum rose above the $4,000 level. Meanwhile, other altcoins, such as Solana (SOL), XRP, and Cardano (ADA) saw volatility.

Bitcoin price reached the $72,000 level again. Bitcoin price is up 0.53% to $72,181.36 at the time of writing on Wednesday, March 13. On the other hand, trading volume decreased by 5.37% to reach $61.17 billion during the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, the cryptocurrency market capitalization reached $1.41 trillion.
Looking at altcoins, Ethereum price rose 0.13% to $4,043.54 at press time with a market valuation of $485.51 billion. While ETH saw its trading volume decrease by 6.80%, reaching $2.6.17 billion. Meanwhile, Binance Coin (BNB) price defied the gained momentum and fell by 0.64% to $537.94. Conversely, 24-hour trade volume increased by 9.27% to $4.04 billion.
Solana price extended below the $150 level. Solana's price fell by 2.70% to settle at $149.70. Additionally, SOL saw a 0.99% rise in trade volume to $5.67 billion over the past 24 hours. While the price of XRP approached the level of $0.70. The price of XRP recorded gains of 0.06%, reaching $0.6952. Furthermore, XRP trading volume decreased by 49.81% to $3.62 billion.
Meanwhile, Cardano price fell by 1.63% to $0.7511 today. While ADA recorded a 29.16% decline in 24-hour trading volume, settling at $936.72 million. With cryptocurrency prices recording the highest volatility, popular meme coins also followed suit. The price of Dogecoin fell by 1.63% to $0.1717, while the price of its rival Shiba Inu fell by 1.09% in value and was traded at $0.00003285.

Tonquin rises 20%
Toncoin (TON), the cryptocurrency launched by Telegram, recorded an impressive rise of more than 20% and ranked first among winning cryptocurrencies for two days in a row. The price per ton increased by 20.50% to reach $4.44 at the time of preparing the report. Moreover, trade volume increased by 37.11% to $371.45 million. Furthermore, the Toncoin cryptocurrency hit a high of $4.50 amid the recent rally.
