    Historically, technology arrived in bundles. With electricity came dynamos, generators, shifting gears, and the power distribution system. With the advent of the printing press came the techniques needed to produce large quantities of cheap paper and ink. Looking at these past groups can help us understand the moment we're in now, and what the future of AI — especially GenAI — might look like. Right now, leaders must assess the state of their data quality and work to build the organizational muscle to complete data projects. They should also look for proprietary data that they possess, which can give them a competitive advantage and enhance their change management capabilities.
