Netflix co-chairman Ted Sarandos spoke about the future of Harry and Meghan's Netflix deal
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have received good news, with Netflix co-chairman Ted Sarandos calling the couple “powerful storytellers.”
As for the public, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's lucrative £80 million Netflix deal will soon end.
During their five-year contract with the streaming giant, the former Working Prince produced three shows, including their stunning docuseries. Heart of Invictus Documentary and Live to lead.
“The documentary we made about them is still one of the most-watched documentaries ever on Netflix and it's huge, especially in the UK, where people devour everything about them,” Ted told Forbes.
“It's controversial, but that's usually a good thing,” the co-chair added.
Ted praised the California-based couple for being the center of attention.
“You may love them or hate them, but you watch them. They are very powerful storytellers,” he continued.
