Who knew Dana Carvey had such an accurate and devastating impression of our Commander in Chief, the one and only Joe Biden?
Apparently neither Carvey's friend, comedian David Spade, nor the crew of their podcast Superfly did this, if this video shared on social media platform X is any indication.

A few minutes into the February 9 episode, Spade asked Carvey, the comedian and actor best known for his stint on SNL, about his comedy gigs. “Are you doing impressions or standing upright?”
In response, Carvey said: “Impressions are the best – quick and quick.”
In fact, he told Spade, referring to his recent gig: “I started with Biden, because the border is mad now.”
Carvey then described how he began photographing the president in 2021, shortly after he took office. “I did that with Biden three years ago, and he was in a press conference.”
First, Carvey played the role of a news reporter, asking a question: “Mr. President, do you have any idea how to handle the crisis at the border?
Carvey then responded, imitating Biden, saying: “First of all, let's get our facts straight. There is no crisis at the border. Come on!” With the same sleepy eyes and tone of voice identical to what we have come to associate with our elderly president.
Spade began to get agitated when Carvey returned to playing reporter, asking, “How do you know, sir?”
Once again, Carvey put on his best Biden persona, holding up something in his hand. “Because it says so on the piece of paper. Come on!” He began to walk around and walk in a bidden manner: “It is written on the paper… written on the paper, there!”
Fast forward to the present day, Carvey provided some background context, explaining that now “everyone is screaming to close the border.”
In his response to Biden's bluster and bluster in 2024, Carvey declared: “I'll close the border!” I will close the borders harder than anyone has ever closed the borders before! I know how to close borders. Come on, Jack!”
“The press says, ‘But the last time…’” Carvey said, pulling back to show the confused looks on reporters’ faces.
Like Biden, Carvey responded by going into a full Uncle Joe rant, starting out loud and then fading into a train wreck: “Get your facts straight!” I'll beat the hell out of you What, you dog-faced soldier… Come on! Let's do some push-ups!”
Carvey made his impression, criticizing Biden's inability to speak in clear sentences, his peculiar mannerisms, and the old man's squint.
All the while, Speed laughed harder and harder, even Carvey's impression making the producer in the background lose it.
Although exaggerated for comedic effect, it would be hard to deny how accurate Carvey's impression of Biden was.
His speaking style and choice of words in particular were perfect, because they seemed so real.
Frankly, it's sad that a relatively straightforward impression of our president can be so ridiculous in itself.
You'd hope that a comedic impression of the leader of the free world would take a little more effort to easily take down an experienced comedian like Spade.
But at this point, Biden has gone too far mentally, despite his stubborn refusal to acknowledge this fact, and it is not difficult to make him look ridiculous.
At least we can get some laughs out of this farce of the presidency.
