REVEALED: Liz Cheney, January 6 Committee Sham, Allegedly Hid Exculpatory Evidence of Trump's National Guard Authorization During Capitol Protests | Critic portal

Chairman Bennie Thompson, Democrat of Missouri, delivers remarks during the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol in Cannon on a report recommending that the House cite Jeffrey Clark for criminal contempt of Congress and refer him to the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia for prosecution, on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. A transcript obtained by The Federalist suggests that the phony January 6 Commission, headed by former Rep. Liz Cheney, may have suppressed evidence suggesting that President Donald Trump had allowed National Guard troops to be on standby during the Capitol protest.

For context, Kash Patel, former chief of staff to the Secretary of Defense, joined The Epoch Times for an interview about security planning and the protests on January 6 at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.

During his interview, Cash acknowledged that Mayor Muriel Bowser rejected the participation of thousands of National Guard troops at the Capitol on January 6 for political reasons.

Chris Wray's FBI also declined to notify the Trump administration and his Cabinet secretaries that they believed there might be a situation like the mass protests that occurred at the Capitol.

Nancy Pelosi also rejected the National Guard at the US Capitol because of politics.

In a WaPo interview with Washington, D.C., Police Chief Steve Sund, The National Pulse reported that the outgoing police chief “believes his efforts to secure the building have been undermined by a lack of interest from House and Senate security officials who report directly to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.” “. And Senate Leader Mitch McConnell.

President Trump also confirmed during an interview with Sean Hannity that he had authorized the National Guard to be in Washington, D.C., on January 6, 2021.

Sean Hannity: Did you authorize, as required by law, the call-up of up to 20,000 National Guard troops on January 4th and perhaps even on other occasions in the run-up to what everyone knew would be a large gathering? Did you authorize the call-up of the Guard, and then the chain of command went to Nancy Pelosi and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser? Did you authorize this, as required by law?

trump card: 100%, and many people testified to it and rejected it. Nancy Pelosi rejected it, and I think they rejected it. But Nancy Pelosi, who is in charge of the Capitol building, refused. So they run the Capitol, which is D.C. security. If you had 10,000 or 20,000 soldiers circling the capital, there would be no January 6 as we know it, and there would have been no problem at all. But they turned him down, which tells you everything.

Now, a transcript from the key witness, Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato, reveals that contrary to the committee's claims of “no evidence,” there was concrete evidence that the White House was proactive in its approach to securing the Capitol.

Ornato's testimony, delivered on January 28, 2022, and attended by Cheney in person, depicted a White House that was not only aware of the potential for unrest but also took steps to mitigate it.

According to Ornato, he overheard conversations in which then-Chief of Staff Mark Meadows urged D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser to request additional support for the National Guard, confirming that President Trump was willing to authorize up to 10,000 troops.

However, the committee's final report did not reflect these discussions, instead stating that President Trump “never issued any order to deploy the National Guard on January 6th or any other day.”

This apparent contradiction has called into question the commission's integrity, with critics claiming that this omission served to promote a specific narrative at the expense of the full truth.

Rep. Barry Loudermilk, the current chairman of the House Administration's Oversight Subcommittee, criticized the committee's previous actions.

“The former J6 Select Committee appears to have withheld Mr. Ornato's critical witness testimony from the American people because it conflicted with their previously established narrative. Mr. Ornato's testimony proves what Mr. Meadows has said all along: President Trump has in fact offered 10,000 Guard troops,” the Georgia Republican said. National Security Council to secure the US Capitol building, which was rejected.

The Loudermilk subcommittee is now reviewing the work of the January 6 Commission, amid accusations of unethical behavior and collusion with efforts to prosecute political opponents.

The discovered text also highlights the slow deployment of the National Guard on the day of the Capitol breach, with Meadows reportedly expressing frustration with the pace of acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller's response. Ornato's account suggests a White House sense of urgency, which contrasts with public perceptions of inaction.

Furthermore, the report fails to discuss the potential impact of the Cheney-orchestrated op-ed that may have dissuaded the Department of Defense from deploying resources on January 6.

The op-ed, written by her father and other former defense secretaries, raised questions about whether it influenced the department's response to the Capitol unrest, according to The Federalist.

Adding to the controversy is the fact that less than half of the 1,000 interviews the committee claimed to have conducted are available to the public, casting doubt on the transparency of the proceedings.

An explosive report from Fox News revealed that the Trump-hating J6 committee secretly deleted more than 100 potentially crucial pieces of evidence before the GOP took control of the House after narrowly winning 2022.

As the Gateway Pundit previously reported, the House Administration Committee's Oversight Subcommittee is leading an investigation into the January 6, 2021, investigation, led by Chairman Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.). The committee is investigating security failures that day and the actions of the previous select committee investigating the Capitol riot.

The former J6 Select Committee headed by Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) was required by law to turn over all documents from its investigations to the new GOP-led committee. According to Fox News, Thompson promised Loudermilk that he would deliver four terabytes of archived data.

But this turned out to be a lie by Thompson. The GOP-led committee ended up receiving less than half of the promised materials.

A total of 117 encrypted files were deleted by the Corrupt Committee on January 1, 2023. The 118th Congress convened on January 3, 2023.

The Loudermilk Commission had to hire a digital forensics team to examine hard drives to identify information that had not been provided to them. While the data was eventually recovered, they don't have the answers and passwords to access it.

The Georgia congressman sent Thompson a letter asking him to provide him with “a password list of all password-protected files created by the Select Committee” so that the committee could “access these files and ensure that they are properly archived.”

Loudermilk also sent letters to the White House General Counsel and the Department of Homeland Security's General Counsel, requesting “unedited and unredacted transcripts” of White House and DHS testimony before the previous select committee. Although these texts existed, they were never delivered to the J6 Select Committee.

Loudermilk told Fox News that he set a deadline for the White House and the Department of Homeland Security to comply with his request by January 24.
