The land on which the proposed solar project in Busti is to be located has been sold.
The Post-Journal and OBSERVER analyzed real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at transactions from Dec. 1-10.
During that time period, STB Beverages, Inc. sold… of Bemus Point, 4542 Baker St., Busti, to ESG Energy Holdings, LLC of Clearwater, Florida, for $625,000.
That address is the site of the proposed 10-megawatt solar project, which is expected to cost $17.6 million to complete. Last summer, the county Industrial Development Agency approved a payment-in-lieu-of-taxes agreement for the project. The property is located next to Cummins Engine.
In a separate sale, Tah Land Company, LLC of Jamestown sold 320 Winsor St., Jamestown to Jamestown Auto and Transport, Inc. For 70 thousand dollars. A message left with Jamestown Auto and Transport, Inc. was not returned.
Including the previously mentioned transactions, from December 1-10, there were 11 sales of $250,000 or higher. The remaining top sales are as follows:
