Today we saw a lot of sunshine for a beautiful but cold day outside. After hitting the high 50s and getting rid of those blustery winds, we're gearing up for a cold night.

Tonight we will see a little cloud cover building while winds remain out of the north but only at 5-10 mph. Temperatures should bottom out at around a chilly 35 degrees but could be closer to freezing in our northern counties.

Tomorrow we will start that warm trend and see the 60s return to our area with a little more cloud cover and the possibility of rain in our southernmost counties as well. Winds should also shift to the southeast at 5-10 mph.

Longer term, we will have this warm trend through the middle of the week that will reach the 80s again on Wednesday and Thursday before a cold front pushes through and reaches the 60s in time for next weekend. The passage of cold fronts also brings a good chance of rain starting Thursday and likely continuing into Saturday or Sunday but we will monitor its development throughout this week.
