Britain's Anthony Joshua made the strongest statement in the heavyweight division with a devastating second-round knockout win over Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
Joshua, 34, knocked out the UFC champion in the first round and early in the second.
A stunned Ngannou rose to his feet in Riyadh but was stunned by a massive explosion moments later when the referee stopped the bout.
The 37-year-old appears to be out before hitting the canvas and needs medical treatment.
“I will go back to my cage, and when they let me out, I will fight again,” Joshua said, as World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Tyson Fury watched the bout from ringside.
Joshua did what his compatriot Fury couldn't do.
Fury did the hard work on Ngannou in October when the rookie dropped him before taking the lead on points.
