'Transgenderism' is dramatically increasing in the military, according to seven years of public health data | Critic portal

Based on ICD-10 diagnosis codes related to transgenderism, the number of cases in military military service is on the rise — and it's skyrocketing.

The Defense Medical Epidemiology (DMED) database is a repository for all diagnoses, which are recorded using International Classification of Diseases (ICD) codes. Earlier today, Naval Medical Service Lt. Ted Massey shared the following DMED statements about “transgender” in a series of posts on X:

While all branches of service show an increase in incidents listed as “transgender,” the Army and Air Force showed the most pronounced increases between 2016 and 2022. The number of incidents increased dramatically in 2021 and continued to rise the following year.

Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Rod Bishop, Chairman of Standing Together Against Racism and Extremism in the Services (STARRS), spoke to The Gateway Pundit about the increasing number of incidents in the military. STARRS is a national advocate for veterans against Critical Race Theory (CRT) and awakened ideology in the military and service academies.

The bishop stressed that, according to his Christian faith, he “welcomes and loves everyone.” He said that even regardless of his personal belief, the transgender issue is not something the American people can reduce to “live and let live” when it comes to the military.

“Things have been turned upside down, disrupting Western family norms,” he said. For him, “regardless of religion, this shows a departure from traditional American norms.”

“[Transgenderism] Bishop emphasized that the issue of military preparedness is divisive. Sources within the military told STARRS that “the issue is being addressed beyond mere acceptance; [transgenders] Now expect confirmation.

“This disrupts unity and cohesion, which are at the heart of military preparedness,” he said. “For example, those who may hold to a particular religious belief are forced to live with a transgender person – and this causes disruption.”

“Most service academy students don't want to shower with someone who is sexually transmitted,” Bishop said. “This attitude is particularly strong for female students who do not want to shower with a male who is in transition,” he noted.

“The liberal cabal in Washington has bought into the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) ideology, having not done enough research into its roots,” Bishop said. “It's Marxism,” he said. “It aims to disrupt, and disruption is exactly what it does — all at the expense of military readiness.”

In a survey the author conducted last fall, 59 percent of the 229 respondents said they had served with someone who self-identified as transgender. More than 92 percent said they had a moral or religious objection to transgenderism.

Nearly 91%, 208 out of 229, admitted that DEI training had moved away from combat readiness training. More than 93% said that when it comes to being transgender, they feel forced to believe in something they don't believe in.
