GREENSBORO, N.C. (March 8, 2024) – At 1:20 a.m. on March 8, 2024, Greensboro Police, Guilford County EMS and UNCG Campus Police responded to a reported shooting at the Culture Hall, located at 1707 Avenue Spring Garden. Upon arrival, EMS began life-saving measures for several gunshot victims inside the business.

Two adult male victims were pronounced dead at the scene and have not been positively identified at this time. The adult victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for a gunshot wound. She is listed in stable condition this morning.

Officers secured the business as a crime scene, and homicide detectives and forensic crime scene investigators were on scene most of the morning.

Nearly 100 guests were inside the house at the time of the shooting. Interviews conducted at the scene indicate that there was a disturbance within the business immediately before the shooting. Investigators determined this was not a random act of violence.

The city now has a total of 10 homicides for 2024.

Investigators are asking anyone who was there to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000 with any potential suspect information.
