We've seen warm temperatures this week with record highs on Monday and Tuesday but there are big changes coming! We are tracking a cold front that will bring a fun weekend! Here's what to expect.
Thursday forecast:
Skies today will be mostly cloudy to overcast with temperatures rising into the upper 70s. It's breezy with southeast winds 10-15 mph gusting to 25 mph. Light rain is possible tonight.
Cold front Friday:
Tomorrow morning through early Friday afternoon a cold front will bring rain and the potential for severe weather. The biggest threat for hail and damaging winds is north of Houston. The tornado risk is low and threatens our northern cities.
Weekend forecast:
After the cold front on Friday, we're in for a great weekend! Humidity will be low, sunshine will be abundant, and temperatures will be comfortable. High temperatures will reach the 60s on Saturday and Sunday with a chilly feeling in the morning.
Don't forget “Spring Forward” at 2am on Sunday. We lose an hour of sleep with sunrise on Saturday at 6:38 and sunset at 6:26. The new sunrise and sunset are around 7:30.
10 day forecast:
We have two fronts on Friday in our 10-day forecast! Friday's first cold front will bring us a great weekend. Next week temperatures will rise into the low 80s before the next cold front moves in on Friday, March 15. Our cold fronts will lower the humidity and bring cool, calm mornings.
