Weather in Brownfield AG today
Over the next few days, the persistent warmth will retreat to the south, as the country crosses two storm systems. Both storms, including the one currently impacting the South and lower Midwest, will produce heavy rain and locally severe thunderstorms, with 5-day rainfall totals reaching 2 to 6 inches from the Mississippi Delta to the southern Atlantic coast, except for the Florida Peninsula . Rainfall could also exceed 2 inches in other areas, including the North Atlantic coast and parts of the Ohio Valley. East of the Rocky Mountains, any snowfall should be limited to the northern tier of the country. Meanwhile, dry weather is expected over the next five days in a few areas, including the Rio Grande Valley and parts of the northern Plains. Most areas of the west will witness a gradual return to calm weather, especially late in the week.
