    For many people, the Army Gala marks the height of the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival season.

    While the event featured a host of distinguished artists, including Young Breda, Waddix, Farmer Nappy, JBM Notron, Mikal Teja, Lyrical, Naila Blackman, and Nadia Batson, there was a noticeable shift in the energy and overall atmosphere that has become synonymous with Celebrate the Army for years. many.

    Despite the dwindling crowd size and subdued atmosphere, the 2024 Army Festival retained its essence of celebration and unity. The artists shared their insights into the complexities of the season, acknowledging its brevity and challenges while celebrating the resilience and spirit of Carnival.

    Priddy reflected on the season as a mixture of hardship and sweetness, focusing on the power of music to uplift amid adversity. Gadl expressed his gratitude for the international cooperation, while Lyrical praised the unwavering support from fans and promoters.

    The 2024 Army Gala may have been different at its core, but it remained a testament to the enduring spirit of Carnival, demonstrating resilience, unity and the transformative power of music.
