Immigration
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has promised mass deportation of illegal immigrants and granting immunity to local police who enforce immigration laws.
Trump explained his platform during an interview with Newsmax host Chris Salcedo on Monday.
“Given the fact that no foreign national has the right to be here in the United States, would you order mass deportation if you won the White House?” – Salcedo asked.
The former president did not hesitate.
“Oh, the first day,” he replied. “We don't have a choice. We'll start with the bad guys.”
Trump added: “And do you know who knows who they are? Local police. The local police must have their authority restored, and their respect and immunity must be restored. “We will give them immunity.”

Trump calls for mass deportations
This is not the first time former President Donald Trump has indicated he would conduct mass deportations if he wins.
Recent polls indicate that illegal immigration has replaced a fragile economy as the number one concern among Americans. And they don't like the way President Biden is handling the situation.
Trump says his approach will be much different.
“[Illegal aliens] “They come from prisons and mental institutions,” he said during a speech at the recent Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
“This will be the largest deportation operation in the history of our country,” he promised. “They are killing our people. They are killing our country. We have no choice!”

Trump says he will resort to wartime powers
saying Conducting mass deportations on the campaign trail and then actually carrying them out are two different things: Fortunately, Trump has a plan for that.
He has pledged to invoke the Alien Enemies Act if elected, a wartime law that would allow the president to authorize the arrest and deportation of illegal immigrants over the age of 14.
During an election campaign in Iowa last September, the Republican Party's leading candidate for the White House promised to “carry out the largest domestic deportation operation in American history.”
“I will immediately invoke the Alien Enemies Act to remove all known or suspected gang members,” Trump said.
Millions of illegal aliens have been released directly into American communities with little to no scrutiny during President Biden's term — the result of a unilateral “parole” scheme.
Record high of 9+ million illegal immigrants, including 1.8+ million known “Getaway“, crossed the border under this administration.
Crime and punishment
Several stories have emerged in recent weeks involving illegal immigrants committing violent crimes against American citizens.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Boston arrested a 34-year-old illegal immigrant from Guatemala who was recently convicted of assault and battery on a child under 14, The Policy Insider reported. The Gloucester District Court had previously released him, despite ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations) Boston having filed a lawsuit against him.
In addition, authorities in Maryland have arrested and charged an illegal immigrant from El Salvador with murder in the case of a 2-year-old boy who was shot and killed this month while walking in the park with his mother.
Not to mention the case of University of Georgia nursing student Lakin Riley, who was allegedly murdered by suspect Jose Antonio Ibarra, an illegal alien.
