Bad weather and floods target the south on Monday
A strong system moves across the central United States on Monday, bringing the threat of severe weather and heavy rain to the South.
Areas along the Gulf Coast from Texas to Florida are at risk of seeing damaging wind gusts, hail and even tornadoes from Monday evening into the overnight hours.
Heavy rain will also hit southern Mississippi and southeastern Louisiana, including New Orleans, enhancing the risk of flooding.
A blizzard covers the Plains and Midwest with snow
The same system that brings severe weather to the South will also bring snow from the Plains to the Midwest, which could cause a travel headache during the middle of the week.
Blizzard Watches and Winter Storm Warnings are posted as strong winds will accompany heavy snow as this storm makes its way across the central United States.
Flood threat in Hawaii
Flash flooding is possible in Hawaii as an approaching weather system will bring heavy rain to the Aloha State.
Meteorologists issued flood warnings amid fears of flash floods on flood-prone roads and in low-lying areas.
More storms hit the Pacific Northwest
The West has been a highway to storms over the past week, and this week will be no different.
Another storm is scheduled to hit the Pacific Northwest, bringing rain and mountain snow to Washington and Oregon to start the work week.
Winter storm watches have been issued as some high elevations could see up to 4 feet of snow.
