Former Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban reveals why he'll still vote for Joe Biden over Donald Trump, even if Biden is on his deathbed.

In this presidential election, the most likely Democratic and Republican candidates are not young people.

But for Joe Biden specifically, the Democratic nominee is showing significant signs of the cognitive decline that comes with age.

This doesn't matter to Mark Cuban.

Mark Cuban supports Biden (not too enthusiastically): “If they were having his final wake, and it was him versus Trump, and he was being given the last rites, I would vote for Joe Biden.” @josh_wingrove Reports https://t.co/RJtG2rIrIz

Cuban will vote for the dying Biden over Trump

“Mark Cuban, the former owner of the Dallas Mavericks, said he would cast his vote for President Biden over former President Trump in November, even if 'he would be given last rites,'” The Hill reported.

Cuban recently told Bloomberg News: “If they were holding his final wake, and he was facing Trump, and he was being given the last rites, I would still vote for Joe Biden.”

    The story continued:

The billionaire also told the outlet that he plans to vote for former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley in the Texas Republican primary on Tuesday as an “anti-Trump protest vote,” but will still support the current president versus the former president.

Texas is one of more than a dozen states holding bipartisan primaries on Super Tuesday, along with states such as Arkansas, California and Virginia.

Cuban, a prominent investor and star of the movie Shark Tank, has been a vocal critic of the former president, especially in the wake of the Capitol riot. He supported Trump's ban on X (formerly Twitter) and other social media platforms, stating that it was “the right thing to do” in light of the events that unfolded.

Mark Cuban on the 2024 elections and President Biden:

Mark Cuban has been rumored to run in 2024

Cuban was rumored to run for president last year, something he said he had “no plans” to do in November.

But he also said he hadn't completely “closed the door” on it.

“It was closed, but we're going through crazy times and I've been getting so many requests that I would at least like to keep the door open, but that's still highly unlikely,” Cuban said at the time. “There has to be something more than the pandemic.”
