With an estimated possibility of three inches, drivers are asked to take things slow and be prepared for winter driving conditions.
BOISE, Idaho – Between 1 and 3 inches of snow is expected to fall on the floor of the Treasure Valley, creating difficult driving conditions and delays. More snow is expected in the mountains as well, with possible highway closures.
Weather update:
In the Treasure Valley, snow is expected to fall around midnight Monday and continue into Tuesday morning, with snow and/or wintry precipitation pausing until Wednesday morning. Accumulation of 1-3 inches is possible in the Boise area by Tuesday morning, and 2-3 inches is expected in Magic Valley, so Tuesday morning's commute will be slow and slippery. Snow showers could continue into Wednesday morning before the system finally moves to the south and east by midday Wednesday, allowing drier air to take hold.
