after Dallas Cowboys After suffering another disappointing early exit from the playoffs in January, pundits have raised questions about whether or not the quarterback… Dak Prescott He was the right man to lead the crime for years to come.
But it's not the personal criticism of his play that bothers Prescott the most. Instead, what bothers him is criticism of the franchise's culture and whether or not that culture is conducive to competing for Super Bowls.
“Yes, the culture is high, frankly, and the culture is great from my perspective,” Prescott said at a charity event on Monday, per Jarrett Podell of CBS Sports. “…My point is that this is something that I've bragged about and I'm proud of. So if there are questions or concerns about that, I feel attacked.”
Prescott has been a starter in Dallas since 2016 and just enjoyed his best statistical season as a pro. He completed a career-best 69.5% of his passes and led the league with 36 touchdown passes. He also threw for 4,516 yards, the second-best mark during his tenure in Dallas.
Although the Cowboys have made the playoffs five times in Prescott's eight seasons, the team has never advanced beyond the playoff round with him under center.
