The up and down nature of spring weather in Acadiana will be on full display this week starting with a round of storms in the next few days.
Monday morning will start with some foggy areas that could cause traffic to slow down there, so give yourself a few extra minutes to get to work.
The heavy fog warning will last until about 9:00 a.m., and when the fog burns off Acadiana, it will be left with plenty of clouds and a chance for some pop-up storms.

While most storms will be park variety, there is a marginal risk for some isolated severe weather over the next couple of days.
Isolated pockets of hail will be possible with some strong storms, and anything developing later tonight will be at risk from strong, damaging winds.
Storms will begin to develop around midday and will continue intermittently through the night and into Tuesday.

The weather will remain unstable until Tuesday, with clouds remaining in the middle of the week.
Rain totals don't look overly impressive with a potential area of a half inch to an inch wide, with a few higher amounts occurring around thunderstorms.
Even as rain chances start to wind down on Tuesday, the clouds don't look like they're going anywhere, and rain will return later in the week.
Temperatures will remain in the lower 80s and upper 70s over the next few days, but there will be a slight drop by the end of the week.
The weather will remain up and down like this for at least a week as Acadiana's weather pattern settles into spring.
