I've been using Crypto.com since May 2021 and it's been a roller coaster! I ordered their card because the Binance card was not available in the UK (and still is not available three years later)
I decided to join Crypto.com and the 10 million users who are already using the service. I knew I could get up to 8% cashback in $CRO and use other ways to earn cryptocurrencies. It will also reward referred friends with $25 in CRO.
I got my Midnight Blue card because the “up to 8%” cash back is inaccessible to regular people. I started spending and earning $CRO with all my purchases, and joined Supercharge campaigns to get additional cryptocurrency rewards.
I earned a decent amount of $CRO on my purchases and started using Crypto.com for all my shopping needs. I would top up the card with my wages, as there were no fees at the time, and I would pay everything with it!
I earned more CRO, and when I pumped hard I had enough to upgrade my membership and get 3% rewards on my purchases. You also get six months of perks, and 100% cash back on Netflix and Spotify memberships.
They soon weakened the system, adding a 1% fee when adding paper money. The bonuses also decreased to 2%, so the winnings are now lower. This was when I switched to Plutus, a non-custodial card available in the EEA that gave 3% cash back in $PLU and cash back perks.
The Plutus trip was good, with no fees for paper money top-ups, £10 cashback on Netflix and supermarket shopping.
So I went back to Crypto.com, mostly because transferring cryptocurrencies became easier with second layers like Arbitrum and Optimism. I didn't have to top up with fiat currencies, and I was able to get 2% rewards by spending the cryptocurrencies I was earning.
It just got better and I got my first NTS in the Cronos series, thanks to the PSG campaign. Digital keepsakes are shared with those who fill out the form, but I often forget. It has only acquired two NFTs so far, from the matches against Marseille and Lens. This reminded me to go fill out the form for the next match!
