A train derailed Saturday morning in Lower Saucon, Pennsylvania, sending several cars into the Lehigh River.
According to Northampton authorities, there were no injuries and no leaks from any containers. They also said there are no evacuations at this time.
Authorities also asked the public to stay away from the site for safety and to allow first responders to focus on their mission.

Crews are working to clean up a train derailment in Pennsylvania that sent several cars tumbling into the Lehigh River.
It happened Saturday morning in the town of Lower Saucon in Northampton County, fire and county officials announced on Facebook. The pictures show box cars and tankers outside the tracks.
“There are currently no evacuations, no injuries and no leaks from any containers,” Northampton County said while asking people to stay away from the site and let first responders do their work.
According to the county, the train is owned by Norfolk Southern. The company had a crew on site to assess the situation.
“Norfolk Southern said in a statement to Fox News Digital that they responded to the accident near Bethlehem and 'appreciate the quick and professional response by local emergency agencies.'” Fox News reported that crews and contractors are developing a cleanup plan at the site of the derailment.
According to local website WFMZ, there was a diesel spill in the Lehigh River but it was contained.
“There was a diesel fuel spill in the Lehigh River, but the leak was contained,” officials said at an 11 a.m. news conference. WFMZ reported there were also polypropylene pellets leaking from one of the cars.
Two of the engines fell into the water including several derailed train cars.
Norfolk Southern was also involved in the derailment of an East Palestine, Ohio, train in 2023. The Biden regime has taken no action to help people in the Trump-voting town.
Not only does the Biden regime not care about the horrific suffering of the people of East Palestine, Ohio, they seem to revel in it.
Just remember, they refused direct aid to the city for weeks after a massive train derailment and a toxic chemical explosion in a mushroom cloud.
