Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of The View, believes the Supreme Court's decision to review the case involving former President Donald Trump's claims of presidential immunity could lead to some kind of dictatorship in America.
Goldberg, who is best known for her role in the film VioletHe noted that if the court rules in Trump's favor, it could open Pandora's box.
From the comedian's point of view, this may push the current president to continue his dictatorial wave.
“Let's look at the scenario where the Supreme Court says yes, he has all these rights. He's infallible from everything. Do you know what Joe Biden could do since he's now president? Whooo!” Goldberg said.
“He could throw every Republican in jail. I mean he can! she added.
Goldberg had to be wary of the far-left crowd's enthusiasm for this idea, saying: “No, no, that's not a good thing.”

Goldberg believes presidential immunity could lead to Biden imprisoning his political opponents
Most legal experts, even those in left-leaning media, declared the Supreme Court's decision to review presidential immunity a major victory for the Republican Party's leading presidential candidate.
The court set an accelerated schedule, Goldberg relayed, for arguments starting the week of April 22. The decision will likely delay Trump's trial until after the election.
Special Counsel Jack Smith had urged the court to reject Trump's bid to review presidential immunity, but if they insisted, he asked for an expedited timeline.
Even if the court issues a quick decision based on this timeline and rules against Trump, it now appears unlikely that the January 6 trial will be resolved before the election in November.
Legal expert Rick Hasen noted that the decision means it is “possibly game over” for the private counsel's case.

Biden is already doing it, Whoopi
Goldberg should not be confused with an expert on political matters, especially those involving the nation's highest court. None of the ladies of “The View” have any special knowledge when it comes to these matters, even though the audience hangs on their every word.
However, it seems unlikely that Goldberg has been living under a rock. We know that when she said President Biden “could throw every Republican in jail,” she saw actual examples of that.
Not legislators per se, but certainly Republican voters.

Biden's Justice Department has jailed most peaceful protesters as of January 6, jailed pro-life grandmothers who protested abortion clinics, had the Justice Department target Catholic churches, and pursued concerned parents at school board meetings as terrorists.
President Biden did not need a Supreme Court review of presidential immunity to lead this effort. He just did it.
