Well, it could be worse, but the D.C. area will see its fair share of rain this weekend. Here's what you need to know.
Wet conditions have already begun in areas such as Manassas, Virginia, as well as Warrenton. This band of rain will continue to move north and east, according to 7News First Alert meteorologist Steve Rudin.
This rain is expected to reach the area around 8 pm and continue throughout the night.
The good news: “We're not expecting at least a lot of rain,” Rudin said.
Rainfall totals could reach about an inch by Saturday afternoon, “around lunchtime,” Rudin said.
After that, there will be some clouds for the rest of the day, but they will clear up by Saturday night.
Sunday should be partly cloudy with temperatures back in the 60s – and looking more like spring as we head into next week.
