President Joe Biden was humiliated this week by a new poll showing that nearly half of Democrats want to oust him from their party's 2024 ticket, with the leading choice to replace him being former first lady Michelle Obama.
Poll portends bad news for Biden
A new Rasmussen Reports poll released earlier this week found that 48% of Democratic voters surveyed said they approved of “the party finding another candidate to replace Joe Biden before the election in November,” while 38% disapproved. However, 33% of Democrats predicted that such an adjustment was unlikely to happen at the ballot box.
As for who will replace Biden, Obama came out on top with a 20% approval rating, ranking first on a list of other potential candidates that included Vice President Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and California Governor Gavin Newsom. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. “None of the above” and “Not sure” were also options included in the survey.
Harris came in second place after Obama with 15% saying they would choose her, and Clinton came in third with 12% of support. Newsom, who some have claimed is running a “shadow campaign” for the presidency if Biden decides to withdraw, came in fourth place with 11% of Democrats surveyed choosing him, while Whitmer came in fifth place with support from only 9%.
Obama is terrified of the 2024 elections
This comes after Obama spoke openly last January about her concerns about the presidential elections this year.
“What will happen in this next election? I'm terrified of what could happen, because our leaders matter.'” “Who we choose, who speaks for us, who holds that bully pulpit, affects us in ways that I sometimes think people take for granted.”
“The fact that people think the government — is it really doing anything? She continued: “And I say: Oh my God, is the government doing everything for us, and we cannot take this democracy for granted.” “And I worry sometimes that we do. These are the things that keep me awake.”
Although she never mentioned Donald Trump by name, she evaded the indictments against him while unsurprisingly trying to bring race into the matter as much as she could.
“Bars are different for people in life. This is what I learned,” she said. “Other people can be indicted multiple times and still run for office. Black men can't. You just learn to be good. Ultimately, you'll benefit from that extra flexibility.

Ted Cruz's warning from Obama
Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) warned in September last year that Obama might run for president instead of Biden.
“This is the scenario that I think is probably the most likely and the most dangerous,” Cruz said at the time, according to The Hill. “In August 2024, Democratic kingmakers abandon Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama.”
“Michelle Obama, because she was the first lady, had the ability to parachute over all four of them and say, ‘Hey, we're not choosing between any of you.'” He added, “You guys can fight it next time.” “I think in terms of a solution that unites “Democrats. There's no such thing.”

Michelle claims she doesn't want to run for president
Liberals have been trying to convince Obama to run for president for years, but she has repeatedly claimed that she is not interested in running for any type of office.
“I've never expressed any interest in politics ever,” she said in April of last year, according to Rolling Stone. “I mean I agreed to support my husband. He wanted to do it, and he was great at it. But at no time did I say, “I think I want to run.” never. So, I'm just wondering: Does what I want have anything to do with anything? Does who I choose to be have anything to do with it?
She continued: “Politics is difficult.” “And the people who get involved — it's just like marriage, just like kids — you have to do it Wants He. She. It must be in your soul, because it is very important. that it no In my soul. Service is in my soul. Helping people is in my soul. Working with children? I will spend my life trying to make children feel seen and find their light. I'll do it. I don't have to hold office to do this.
“Actually, I think I'm more effective outside of politics, because unfortunately politics has become so divided,” Obama concluded. “The minute you announce a party, you've alienated the other half of the country. Now, maybe some people who don't agree with me politically can still get some tools that can help them. Maybe I can help a Republican kid, because maybe they'll listen to me.” .
Obama is so insanely and bafflingly popular that she would likely outperform any Republican candidate if she ran for president. With Biden's popularity lower than ever, it would certainly not be surprising if Democrats ended up trying to bring Obama into the race at the last minute.
