Discussing expectations:
Happy Wednesday!
We start the morning with some strong thunderstorms moving through the area. Expect this activity to continue through the morning flight, before eventually setting off to the southeast in the late morning and early afternoon. Beyond that, we will be on the trailing edge of a cold front. This will cause temperatures to drop during the afternoon, eventually reaching the 30s. We'll be colder this afternoon than we are this morning. We will also be windy, with gusts up to 40 mph.
The clouds will break tomorrow, making way for plenty of sunshine. Expect highs to be even cooler in the lower 40s. We will be much less windy tomorrow afternoon.
On Friday, a fast and weak system moves in, bringing the chance for intermittent rain showers in the afternoon. Otherwise, we will start a warm trend into the weekend, with highs in the upper 40s.
We continue to warm into the weekend. Skies are expected to be partly cloudy Saturday, with highs in the upper 50s. By Sunday we will be in the upper 60s, almost 70, with plenty of sunshine.
