ICE Boston agents arrested a 34-year-old illegal immigrant from Guatemala who was recently convicted of assault and battery on a child under 14 years old.
The man was released by the Gloucester District Court, despite ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations) in Boston filing a complaint against him.
He was also convicted of a separate felony count of assault and battery and was ordered by the court to register as a sex offender with the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry.
However, the Gloucester District Court reportedly ignored the detainee and released him back into the community.
“This individual represents a serious threat to the people of Massachusetts,” said Todd M. Lyons, director of ERO's Boston office. “Wrongfully convicted sex offenders should not be given the opportunity to reoffend. The victim of his crimes deserves better from our justice system.”

During her emotional outburst, Hailey specifically noted how the children would be affected by the illegal aliens taking over the entertainment center.
“Young children need to be able to breathe clean air,” she continued. “They need to be able to access swimming pools. They need to have lifeguards who can teach them how to swim and they need to be active. I don't know what we're going to do for a few months or three months.”
The city of Gloucester is just over an hour away from the Roxbury neighborhood, but one has to wonder how many illegal immigrant pedophiles are roaming Boston or perhaps making their way into the entertainment center.
