Six Organs of Admittance have shared “Summer's Last Rays,” a new single from their upcoming album Time is glass. Ben Chasney announced the record last month, featuring “The Mission.” Check out the new song below.

“Written when fall was just around the corner in 2022, the interwoven guitars in ‘Summer’s Last Rays’ are an attempt to reflect the balance of the end of summer,” Chasney explained in a statement. “The main riff of the song is something I've been playing live for a couple of decades but never ended up on a record with. Of course with everything that seems balanced, it only takes a little nudge before it all falls apart and a more serious element emerges. It's not going to be a Six Organs song Really if you're not.

Time is glass It is scheduled to be released on April 26 on Drag City.
