The American media has always leaned left, but the Trump years have really torn its mask off. Most people in the media no longer even try to pretend objectivity. They openly act like democratic activists.
When reporting on Trump, which they all love to do, their mistakes are many and they always go in one direction only.
Sharyl Atkinson, one of the few good journalists out there, recently reported on this issue.

When President Biden spent last Christmas on vacation with his family, he continued the longest streak in two decades of no U.S. president visiting troops over the holiday. But there was no criticism in the press, as happened to his predecessor, President Trump. Under Trump, the media has been keen to release negative headlines, even when they are false.
In 2018, NBC incorrectly reported that Trump stayed home for Christmas, the first US president since 2002 to skip visiting troops. The news has become global. But that wasn't true. The media has jumped the gun. Trump and First Lady Melania left the White House on Christmas Day to visit American soldiers in Iraq.
On Thanksgiving, Newsweek made a similar mistake, publishing a false report that Trump was spending the holiday “playing golf” at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. But the reporter made up the golf story. Trump traveled to Afghanistan on Thanksgiving to once again be with troops, making Trump the only president in US history to visit troops in a combat zone on Thanksgiving and so close to Christmas — although the press never reported it.

Our media cannot be fixed. It is overwhelmingly populated by liberal activists who believe their mission is to oust Trump. None of that will change until more of these people are replaced by real journalists.
