Hard-line liberal Javier Miley was recently elected as the new president of Argentina, a country financially ruined by decades of socialism.
Many have compared the two not necessarily in their politics, but have noted similarities with Miley's populism and her personality with Donald Trump. One could say that Miley wants to make Argentina great again.
The two men have praised each other in the past, including Trump congratulating Miley on his election as president in December.
But on Saturday, the two leaders finally met.

When worlds collide
The meeting came at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference, held last week.
“Javier Miley, Argentina’s fiery right-wing populist president, hugged Donald Trump on Saturday, a day after he met with Biden administration officials in Buenos Aires,” the Associated Press reported.
Trump and Milley were the top speakers at the closing of the annual Conservative Political Action Conference outside Washington. During their backstage greeting, captured in a video posted by a Trump campaign staffer, Miley shouted “President!” The Associated Press indicated that Trump gave him a close hug before they took pictures together.
The story continued:
In the video, Trump tells Milley: “Make Argentina great again.” Miley then uttered his famous phrase: “Long live freedom, damn it!”
Miley has taken radical steps to stabilize Argentina's troubled economy and downsize the government overall, such as closing the country's National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism.
Despite attacks by “globalist” organizations such as the International Monetary Fund, Miley's moves resulted in a surplus of nearly a billion dollars for Argentina.

Miley speaks at CPAC
During his speech at CPAC, Miley asked the conservative crowd to put an end to socialism and beware of increased regulation of corporations and the economy.
He also said abortion was a “murderous agenda.”
Not surprisingly, the staunch liberal delivers an anti-government message and also warns of the agenda behind those who preach “social justice.”
“Don't be led by mermaids singing social justice,” Miley said in Spanish. “Don't give up your freedom. Fight for your freedom, because if you don't fight, it will lead you to misery.
Javier Miley became president of his country at the end of last year. Donald Trump has a good chance of being himself again, again, at the end of this year.
Given their mutual respect, it will be interesting to see who can imitate whom.
