Today's top cryptocurrency prices saw a strong rally as the price of Bitcoin (BTC) rose more than 8% and approached $56,000 while several altcoins made significant gains. In addition, the price of Ethereum rose above $3,200, the largest milestone achieved in two years. Meanwhile, other altcoins, such as Cardano (ADA), XRP, and Solana (SOL), have surged in value.

Earlier, Bitcoin price extended above the $56,000 level. The price of Bitcoin is up 8.63%, reaching $55,960.08 at the time of writing on Tuesday, February 27. On the other hand, its trading volume increased by a massive 213.96% to reach $45.06 billion during the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, the cryptocurrency's market capitalization reached $1.09 trillion.
Looking at altcoins, Ethereum price was up 3.78% to $3,220.67 at press time with a market valuation of $386.96 billion. While ETH saw its trading volume rise by 54.70%, reaching $21.26 billion. Meanwhile, Binance Coin (BNB) rose 3.59% in value to $399.15. In contrast, trade volume within 24 hours increased by 58.36%, reaching $2.16 billion.
Solana's price approached the $110 level. Solana's price rose by 6.27%, settling at $109.80. Additionally, SOL saw a 215.36% rise in trade volume to $2.92 billion over the past 24 hours. While the price of XRP was trading above the $0.55 level. XRP price registered a gain of 2.98%, settling at $0.5553. Moreover, XRP trading volume increased by 93.61% to $1.39 billion.
Meanwhile, Cardano price recorded a 6.57% increase to $0.623 today. Additionally, ADA recorded an increase of 114.81 in 24-hour trading volume, settling at $712.62 million. With the highest cryptocurrency prices recording gains, the meme space followed suit. Dogecoin price rose by 5.42% to $0.09009, while its rival Shiba Inu recorded a 4.29% rise in value and was trading at $0.00001021.

Pepe Coin (PEPE), a popular cryptocurrency, has recorded a massive boom and has also emerged as the biggest gainer in cryptocurrencies today. In addition, 24-hour trade volume increased by 338.64% to $722.99 million.
Pyth network up 34%
Pyth Network (PYTH) posted a massive interest rate hike of over 33% and emerged as one of the biggest gainers in the cryptocurrency space today. PYTH price was up 33.71% to $0.7467 at the time of reporting. Moreover, trade volume increased by 493.44% to $314.11 million. Moreover, the PYTH cryptocurrency reached a high of $0.7488 amid the rally today.
