Jason Kelce is still hesitant about retiring.
The longtime Eagle center is staying in shape but has not yet committed to retiring from football, despite reports that telling teammates after a wild-card round loss was his postseason plan.
Kelce, 36, was interviewed by Dana Carvey and David Spade on Friday's episode of “Superfly” and still maintains that there is no final decision.
“I don't know. I'm trying to figure it out now. Right now, I'm exploring different opportunities if I end up retiring, and I'm still training and staying in shape if I end up playing again,” Kelce said.
Front Office Sports reported earlier in February that Kelce met with television executives from Fox and ESPN while supporting his brother Travis during the lead-up to the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
Of course, Kelce and the younger Chiefs went on to win the big game in overtime in a 49ers thriller, with the elder Kelce one of many in attendance.
Jason, who won his Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2018, was selected in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the team after a successful college career at Cincinnati.
Kelce has appeared in over 200 career games, including the regular season and playoffs.
He is one of the most decorated offensive linemen of his generation, having been named an All-Pro six times and a Pro Bowler on seven occasions.
