- Fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall/snowfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning may prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
- Isolated heavy rains are likely to hit Arunachal Pradesh.

- Hot and humid weather conditions are expected to prevail in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Kerala.

- Scattered to light to moderate rain/snowfall may occur over Jammu Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
- Scattered light to moderate rains may occur over Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

A new Western Disturbance is expected to impact the Western Himalayan region starting the night of February 24. Hence, the area is expected to witness scattered to light to moderate rain/snowfall from February 24 to 27.
In the upper atmosphere, jet stream winds prevail over northeastern India, with a maximum speed of 165 knots at an altitude of 12.6 km above mean sea level. In addition, there is a high probability of moisture influx from the Bay of Bengal over northeastern India during the next 24 hours. The systems will result in the following weather conditions:
- Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura can expect moderate to moderate widespread rain/snow accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning on February 23. Furthermore, isolated to scattered light to moderate rain may occur over the region on February 23. February 24-25. Heavy rain/snowfall is also very likely to occur in Arunachal Pradesh on February 23.
- Meanwhile, Odisha is expected to witness scattered light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning on February 23 and 24.
In the south, hot and humid conditions are expected to prevail in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Kerala on February 23.
