Former President Donald Trump is celebrating after radical liberal late night host Jimmy Kimmel suggested he might retire from late night.
Trump attacks “loser” Kimmel.
“They can get someone much more talented, who will also get better ratings, for 5% of what they pay this loser!” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social alongside a link to an ABC News article titled “Jimmy Kimmel hints at retirement from talk show: I think this is my final contract.”
“I think this is my last contract,” Kimmel told the Los Angeles Times. “I hate even saying it, because everyone laughs at me now – every time I think so, and then it turns out not to be the case.”
“I still have a little more than two years left on my contract, which is looking pretty good,” he added. “That seems to be enough.”
Kimmel recently celebrated the 21st anniversary of his late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Kimmel's future plans
As for how he plans to fill his time when he retires, Kimmel said: “I don't know exactly what I'm going to do.”
“There may not be anything that anyone other than me knows,” he continued. “I have a lot of hobbies – I like to cook, I like to draw, and I imagine myself learning to make sculptures. I know that when I die, if I'm lucky enough to die on my own terms in my bed, I'll think, 'Oh, I could never have gotten to this,' and 'I can never get to this.' I only know that about myself.”
Kimmel admitted that the idea of dying without achieving everything he wanted to do in life was “disgusting.” [him] A little out.”

Kimmel responds to Trump
Kimmel has long suffered from the worst cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome of anyone in television. Last night he responded to Trump calling him a “loser” for suggesting he might retire.
“Apparently this has caught the attention of America's most famous tangerine,” Kimmel said in his monologue.
“And I have to say, it's a great way to know that you're not going to be someone's deputy,” he continued. “He has no idea how happy I would be with something like this. I'll try to enjoy it, because he probably won't be able to when they confiscate his phone in prison, so I'll really enjoy it.”

Kimmel has shown time and time again over the past few years that he truly is a loser, so we applaud Trump for calling him out. Ultimately, the TV world would be a much better place if Kimmel actually retired, so we can only hope he follows through with his plan!
