Baltimore– Scattered rain and some scattered storms will continue until this evening, with rainfall decreasing later tonight. The weather will be mostly cloudy during the night. Low temperatures tonight will not be as cold as the past several nights, staying primarily in the low 40s.

There will be a chance of scattered light rain on Friday morning; Otherwise the sky will remain mostly cloudy. Rain chances will end by noon, and it will turn into a storm behind a cold front moving over the region during the afternoon. Winds will blow from the northwest to the northwest on Friday afternoon and evening, reaching speeds of up to 20 miles per hour at times. Skies will be partly cloudy through Friday night, with temperatures dropping to the mid-30s by Saturday morning.

On Saturday, the weather will be partly cloudy, the wind will be northwesterly brisk, and temperatures will rise to below the forties. Bitterly cold temperatures return Saturday night, with clear skies and low temperatures in the lower 20s. Expect mostly sunny skies on Sunday, with highs in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.

The following week starts off warm on Monday, with high temperatures reaching the low 60s under partly cloudy skies – a beautiful start to the work week. The clouds will increase in density Monday night into Tuesday, providing a chance for some rain as the warm front approaches the region. As for Tuesday night, the sky will be mostly cloudy, with the continued chance of some scattered rain and perhaps some fog. Low temperatures Tuesday night won't dip below the mid 50s.

The warmest day of the week will be Wednesday, with a few chances of rain in the morning. However, as the warm front pushes northward in the afternoon, it will take rain with it, allowing temperatures to rise in its wake. High temperatures Wednesday afternoon will reach the upper 60s, with some areas seeing the lower 70s — about 25 degrees above average. A cold front will move into the area on Thursday, bringing a chance of rain followed by a return to cold temperatures. Highs on Thursday will reach the low 50s, and we'll be back in the upper 40s on Friday as the sun shines. The weather heading into next weekend looks great, with sunny skies expected on Saturday and Sunday.
