Thursday will remain sunny and partly dry during the day. After another cold wake-up call in the teens and 20s, highs will reach the mid-40s. This is a bit higher than yesterday and will look decent.

A warm front will be heading toward us this evening with clouds and the next round of rain. Rain will dominate east of 128, but areas to the west may see brief snow and freezing rain initially. There may be some slippery roads north and west of Boston. The best opportunity for accumulation will develop north and west of Zone II at higher elevations.

Friday's forecast will be dominated by intermittent and intermittent rain. The most persistent appears to descend around midday and afternoon and then diminish in the evening. You won't see any extreme weather or flooding, but you will need some indoor plans. Average rainfall will be 0.25″ but may reach 0.5″ in some cities.

    Rainy Friday

    Temperature roller coaster

Temperatures will drop on Saturday. Plan for highs around the freezing mark with wind chills in the 20s all day. On Sunday, the weather will be more moderate, with high temperatures approaching forty degrees. Both days will be mostly sunny.

The weather looks very mild next week with highs in the 50s and some rain chances.
