Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) attacked Democrats, suggesting that a study in which scientists grew a pair of testicles in a lab might be a sign of hope for his colleagues.
In fact, researchers at Bar-Ilan University in Israel have grown “laboratory testicles” in the hope that such progress will help treat infertility in men.
“The tiny artificial organs, produced from cells extracted from rat testicles, are said to resemble the structure and function of natural mouse testicles,” says the New York Post.
The publication notes that researchers “aim to develop human-like testicles from human stem cells to help treat developmental sexual disorders and infertility.”
Cruz shared the development on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, and quickly sidelined one political party.
“There is hope for Democrats,” he wrote.

Personally, I'm not sure what Cruise is trying to insinuate here.
Just because Democrats are the party that has no idea what women are because they're not biologists, or the party that wants to regulate men's sperm because they don't know how babies are made, doesn't mean they need lab-grown testicles. .

In fact, the brutal takedown was so effective that some X users responded by calling back to Cruz's Zodiac Killer days. (Note to fact-checkers: Yes, we realize it's not really ZK.)
Newsmax host Eric Bolling thought Cruise's joke was so good that he was at a loss for words, choosing only to respond with a series of crying while laughing emojis.

Not the most brutal burn
While it's certainly a solid effort, this actually isn't the most brutal takedown we've seen from Cruz in recent years. This distinction goes back to a dig he made against Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) in 2022.
Warren claimed in a book that she did not win the Iowa caucuses in 2020 and thus did not win the Democratic nomination for president because she is not a man, and she even claimed that some voters told her they would have supported her if she had a penis. “
Keep dreaming, Liz. If they can grow testicles in a lab, maybe one day they'll be able to add a penis to their old Petri dish.
Cruz responded to Warren's assertion with what may be the funniest reaction ever.
“Elizabeth Warren told reporters that a man came up to her and said, 'I would vote for you if only you had a penis,'” he told a crowd of supporters.
“In today's Democratic Party, how do we know they don't? How do you know?” He said sarcastically.

Aside from providing hope for Democrats, the possibility of growing testicles in a lab may offer hope for the Republican Party as well.
They were just helpless eunuchs, joining with Democrats to pass spending bills and provide foreign aid while ignoring the crisis at the border.
Maybe one day they will grow up and do what they were elected to do in preventing the Democratic Party from destroying America. Unfortunately, such powerful technology may still be a long way off.
