TUSUMBIA, Ala. — On Thursday morning, meteorologist Jessica Camuto visited the Shallow Water Arch in Tuscumbia to speak with a large group of men and women.

Jessica spoke to the group about what it's like to be a meteorologist and how she puts together forecasts for the newscast!

They discussed the different types of precipitation we see in northern Alabama, why we can see different types, and tornado formation.

Everyone knew where their safe place was during severe weather events and the difference between a watch and a warning.

Before she left, Jessica answered some questions about why clouds appear in different colors and tornadoes.
