Joe Biden returned to what appears to be one of his favorite pastimes again on Tuesday.
bog down. Specifically, those awkward steps of Air Force One.
The president appears to be using a shorter staircase than usual, perhaps to avoid tripping and stumbling as he has often done in the past.

What a trip
Look, the guy is 81 years old. Maybe he shouldn't travel much at all. It may be difficult.
But it also means that Biden, at his age, has no right to be president — which a large number of Americans believe according to polls.
The New York Post summed up Biden's latest challenge with flying steps, as footage from the near miss showed Biden greeting US military personnel at the bottom of the stairs before beginning his ascent at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.
The newspaper noted that “about halfway through, the president can be seen stumbling slightly at one of the steps.” Biden quickly grabbed the railing to steady himself, but immediately stumbled on the next step as well.
science.
It's sad – and unlikely to stop – but then again, we're all getting older, and part of that means acknowledging the limitations that age naturally places on all of us.
Being President of the United States is the greatest responsibility imaginable. It's not for everyone.
It's certainly not for all ages either, you can't even become president until you're over 35 and there's a reason for that.
Maybe 80 is a good limit in the other direction? Clearly, Biden has already moved on.

Sorry Democrats, Biden seems to be the guy for 2024 – mistakes and all
Those who expected Biden to withdraw from the race, to be replaced by a more powerful – and more progressive – candidate have yet to see that option come to fruition.
This did not happen. There is no indication that this will happen on the horizon.
So expect more mistakes from Joe Biden between now and November. Whether literally or otherwise.
