School board members in Brockton, Massachusetts, say violence at the city's high school is so bad that they want the National Guard to come in and restore order.
In other words, the inmates run the shelter at this school.
Before bringing in the National Guard, perhaps the city should hold a community meeting with parents from the school and ask them why these students feel entitled to disrupt the orderly operation of the school.

4 Brockton School Committee members call on Massachusetts National Guard to end 'chaos' at high school
Four School Committee members who are asking the Massachusetts National Guard to assist with security issues at Brockton High School say students often “cause chaos” and disrupt the learning environment.
School Committee members Joyce Asak, Tony Rodriguez, Anna Oliver and Claudio Gomez held a news conference Monday to discuss their request.
“We need to take back control of our schools and make sure our students have a safe learning environment,” Rodriguez said. “Because what happens in high school is frustrating. Kids lose valuable learning time when kids make a mess.
Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey issued a statement Sunday saying she was “committed to ensuring schools are a safe and supportive environment.” Healy added that she has been in contact with local officials about concerns at Brockton High School.
Last month, several teachers made a tearful plea for help at a School Committee meeting.

A number of teachers in Massachusetts are asking their governor to deploy National Guard troops to Brockton High School to deal with increased violence, security issues and drug use.
