Two men have been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting following the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl victory parade.
A woman was killed and 22 others were injured in a shooting in Kansas City on February 14. Missouri.
Dominic Miller and Lindell Mays were charged with second-degree murder and other weapons charges. Prosecutors said both men had been in the hospital since the shooting.
These charges come after two juveniles were arrested last week on weapons and resisting arrest charges.
Prosecutors said the charges against the two men are in addition to the juvenile arrests, and more charges are likely.
“I want you to understand that we seek to hold every shooter accountable for their actions that day, every individual,” Jackson County Prosecutor Jan Peters Baker said at a news conference Tuesday.
“And although we have not yet reached everyone, we will get there.”
Police said that a dispute broke out between several people, which led to the shooting.
It happened after a military parade near the city's historic Union Station, where several thousand fans gathered as the Kansas City Chiefs celebrated their Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
In a statement announcing the charges, the Jackson County District Attorney's Office said: “According to court records, the defendants attended a Super Bowl parade and rally on February 14 and were armed with firearms.
He added, “There was a verbal altercation and gunfire broke out without consideration for thousands of other people in the area.”

In a press conference, a police spokesman said that police investigations showed that the violence began when Mays entered into a verbal altercation with another person who was a stranger to him.
The spokesman told reporters that the dispute between them “escalated very quickly,” with Mays pulling out a gun, and then others in the vicinity “almost immediately” pulled out their weapons.
While both Mays and Miller are charged with murder, Baker said evidence shows it was a discharge from Miller's weapon that wounded and killed Elizabeth Lopez Galvan, a 43-year-old radio host and mother of two.
Authorities said 22 other people, including at least nine children, the youngest of whom was eight years old, were injured.
After the firing, the Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce donated $100,000 (£79,000) To two surviving victims.
His Seventy-Seven and Running Foundation has made two donations of $50,000 (£40,000) to GoFundMe to raise money to provide financial support for two sisters who were injured during the shooting.
In addition to Kelce's donation, the sisters, ages 8 and 10, also received a visit from the team's star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, and his wife, Brittany.
