People in the Biden White House are said to be very angry with The New York Times for publishing actual reports on the issue of Biden's age.
This is an administration that is simply unaccustomed to any media coverage that could be perceived as negative. They have no idea how to handle this because the media has been so friendly with them.
It also says a lot about how important The New York Times is to the left.

New York Times Publisher: White House 'deeply disturbed' by coverage of Biden's age
New York Times Publisher AG Sulzberger said Monday that the White House is “deeply troubled” by its coverage of President Joe Biden’s age but that the newspaper “will continue to report fully and fairly.”
“We will continue to provide full and fair reporting, not only about Donald Trump but also about President Joe Biden,” Sulzberger said in an interview with the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism.
“He is a historically unpopular incumbent and the oldest man to ever hold the office. “We talked about those two facts extensively, and the White House was very upset about that.”
Criticisms of the coverage of Biden's low approval ratings, most notably Biden's age, drew condemnation from the Biden campaign and some members of the press. News stories about Biden's age gained more attention among the press, with Special Counsel Robert Hoare writing in his latest report, without prompting at all, that Biden was “an elderly man with a failing memory.”
Republicans are used to dealing with a hostile media.

Biden's age is a completely valid issue. The American people have every right to be concerned.
